DE: Anfangs Dezember 2010 hatte BurnStudios zusammen mit Richie Hawtin einen Remix Wettbewerb lanciert. Da sie regelrecht überrannt wurden mit Remixes, hat das Ganze nun ein wenig länger gedauert, aber das Warten hat sich gelohnt und gestern wurde nun der Gewinner bekannt gegeben. Der Gewinner heisst “Oblique Industries” oder bürgerlich Ryan Schofield.

Ich muss zugeben, mir gefällt der Gewinner Track ganz gut. Echt ein gut arrangiertes, minimalistisches Stück, welches auch gut den Zeitgeist trifft und den Song “ask yourself” gut hervorhebt.

Also hört mal rein beim Gewinnertrack. Auf der Seite von BurnStudios gibts auch noch 5 weitere Tracks, die erwähnt wurde und auch einen kleine Preis gewonnen haben.


EN: Beginning of December 2010 BurnStudios launched together with Richie Hawtin a remix competition. Since they were literally overrun with remixes, the whole thing has now lasted a little longer, but the waiting has paid off now and yesterday the winner has been announced. I must admit, I like the winning track quite well. Well arranged, minimalistic piece, which also applies well to the spirit of time and points out the song ”ask yourself” really well.

Plastikman (aka Richie Hawtin) & Burn Studios lädt zum Remix Wettbewerb ein. Aufgrund seiner kommenden Veröffentlichung “Plastikman Arkives” wird nach dem Wettbewerb ein Remix ausgewählt (der Gewinner also), welcher dann mit auf diese CD Box kommt. Der Wettbewerb selber geschieht in Zusammenarbeit mit residentadvisor.net. Auch soundcloud.com wird an die Gewinner Accountabo’s verschenken.

Der Wettbewerb selber ist nicht beeinflussbar. Es geht nicht darum, wer am meisten Plays hat, sondern wer von Richie Hawtin selber ausgewählt wird.

Mein Beitrag dazu wollte ich natürlich auch leisten und habe mich gleich dran gesetzt, einen eigenen Remix von Plastikman’s – ask yourself zu produzieren.
