DE: Weitere 2 Monate sind vorbei, da es ja im Dezember keine Charts gab. Der Grund, ich habe meine ganze Musik Library mal rigoros aufgeräumt und daher fast keine neue Musik gekauft aber umso mehr alte Schätze ausgegraben ;o)
Speziell erwähnen möchte das Album von Planetary Assault System und Mr. Oizo. Die 2 haben beide ein herrlich synthetisch digitales und irgendwie inspirierend durchgeknalltes Stück Scheibe auf den Markt geworden. Sehr zu empfehlen für Ohren die über Club Tracks hinausgehen.

EN: Another 2 months passed by, because I didn’t collect any charts last month. The reason, I completely reorganised my whole music library, therefore bought almost no new music but the more I’ve found some old treasures ;o)
Would like to mention specifically the LP’s from Planetary Assault System and Mr. Oizo. Both produced a gorgeously synthetic, digital tracks and somehow spread some manic inspiration over the markets. Highly recommended for ears beyond club tracks.
DE: Mal wieder ein bisschen guten alten House… ist ja schon lange her. DJ Mark Farina hat selber dieses Set freigegeben, was ich euch natürlich nich vorenthalten möchte. Leider gibts keine Tracklist, die hat er nicht veröffentlicht.

DE: Dieses Stück liegt doch schon ziemlich etwas länger her. Da war ich gerade mal 5 Jahre alt und Martin Luther King Jr. hatte bereits seit längerem das zeitliche gesegnet und doch ist es bis heute einer der wohl bekanntesten Texte der Welt: “I have a dream…”. Auch dieser Track des Duos Kevin Saunderson & Santonio Echols hat sich der Rede bedient und und ist bis heute noch ein wahrlich guter Techno Track.
EN: Yeah, this piece is quite a while ago. Since I was only 5 years old and Martin Luther King Jr. had been blessed for a long time already, it is anyway one of the most famous texts of the world: “I have a dream…”. Also this track by the duo Kevin Saunderson & Santonio Echols has taken these famous words from the Luther speech and so it is still a really good Techno track.
DE: Ein Hoch auf IDM. Vor Monaten hatte ich ein Portrait geschrieben über einen in England ansässigen jungen Künstler, der sich dem IDM (Intelligent Dance Music) verschrieben hat. Es geht um Ranvir Bassi. Ich folge immer noch seinen Spuren auf Soundcloud und so kams, dass ich letztens über einen seiner neuen Tracks gestolpert bin. Der Track wurde Mitte Januar online gestellt. Wie man also hören kann, hat ihn seine Kreativität nicht verlassen und beglückt immer noch viele Menschen mit IDM. Viel Spass also mit seinem Track “Mad-Lost”, welcher auf seinem letzten Album (1. Januar 2012) “2 Zero 1 2″ via Bandcamp erhältlich ist.
EN: Highly praise IDM. Months ago, I had written a portrait of a young artist based in England, who has joined the IDM (Intelligent Dance Music) scene. It is about Ranvir Bassi. I follow his footsteps still on Soundcloud and so it happened that I recently stumbled over one of his new tracks. The track was published in mid-January. As you can hear, he still is full of creativity and still delights the world around him with IDM. So enjoy the track “Mad-Lost”, which is released within his new album “2 Zero 1 2″ on Bandcamp.
DE: Zugegeben, das war ja nur eine Frage der Zeit. Mit ihrem Werk “212″ hat Azealia Banks sowas von abgeräumt in the Youtube-Charts und im gleichen Zug sind auch noch the Major-Labels ringhörig geworden. Einerseits mag man ihr gratulieren, andererseits schade um so eine gute Sängerin. Auch sie wird nun wohl zu einer dieser Kommerz-Drosseln mutieren die einen Chart Hit nach dem anderen auf den Markt wirft. So kommt es nun, dass Azealia Banks demnächst (May?/Juni?) ein Album bei Universal rausbringen wird. Gespannt bin ich ja trotzdem mal, denn stimmlich muss sie sich absolut vor niemandem verbergen…
EN: Admitted, this was only a matter of time. With her work “212″ Azealia Banks highly poped up in the YouTube charts and at the same time the major labels have payed attention. On the one hand, one may congratulate you, on the other hand, a pity for such a good singer. She possibly will mutate into one of these charts-girlies, which throws a hit after the other on the market. If all works out, Azealia Banks may release a new album soon (May? / June?) on Universal Music. I’m curious anyways, because vocally she has to hide from absolutely anyone…
