DE: Auch dieses Jahr hat der Swiss Track 2012, eine Zusammenarbeit der Streetparade und der Suisa, wieder einen neuen Gewinner an den Tag gebracht. Der Swiss Track fand bereits zum 4. Mal statt. Gemäss Swiss Track Jury, wurden etwas mehr als 100 Tracks eingesandt, wovon nun 3 ausgewählt wurden. Der 1. Preis erhielt ein Preisgeld im Wert von 8’000 CHF und der 2. und 3. Platz eine kleinere Abfindung von jeweils 1000 CHF. Wer den Swiss Track mitverfolgt, kennt den Namen des diesjährigen Gewinners allenfalls schon.

Louis Desero aka Alois Petraschke heisst der diesjährige aus der Ostschweiz stammende Gewinner des Swiss Track Wettbewerbes. Louis Desero hat schon 2011 erfolgreich am Wettbewerb teilgenommen und damals den 3. Platz mit seinem Track “Nostalgia” erhalten. Fotos von der Preisverleihung gibts auf usgang.ch.

Natürlich kann man das ganze Geschehen nicht nur anschauen, sonder sich auch die Plätze 1-3 anhören oder kaufen. Meines Erachtens sind der 1. und 3. Platz durchaus gelungene, stilvolle und gut umgesetzte Tracks. Sie entsprechen einerseits dem Zeitgeist und sind somit absolut gute Streetparade Repräsentanten. Ich wünsche den jungen Talenten auf alle Fälle viel Erfolg weiterhin bei ihrer Musik.

EN: The jury of the Swiss Track 2012, a collaboration of the Street Parade and Suisa, revealed the this year’s winner. The Swiss Track took place the 4th time since 2009. According to he Swiss Track jury, Swiss musicians sent more than 100 tracks, which were now reduced to 3 selected musicians. The first price received a gift worth CHF 8,000 and the 2nd and 3rd place a small settlement of CHF 1’000. Those who followed the Swiss track, probably know the name of the this year’s winner.

Louis Desero aka Alois Petraschke from the eastern part of Switzerland is the winner of the Swiss Track 2012 competition. Already in 2011 Louis Desero won the third place in the competition with his track “Nostalgia”. Watch some pictures of the award show a few weeks ago at usgang.ch.

Of course you shouldn’t only watch some pictures. On their website you can listen or buy the places 1-3. In my opinion the 1st and 3rd place are quite cool, groovy and well produced tracks. They correspond to the spirit of time and are absolutely a good feeling to represent the idea behind the Street Parade . I wish these young talents much more success in their music career.

Künstler Actress, welcher mit seinem letzten Album “R.I.P.” auch wieder grosse Schlagzeilen geschrieben hat, sowie Laurel Halo, welche mit ihrem Erstlingswerk “Quarantine” in aller Munde geraten ist. Sicherlich ein Abend den man sicht nicht entgehen lassen sollte.

EN: This weekend (June 09 2012) there are some big names in Lucerne. There are two mainacts presented by Sudpol. One is Actress, which got again some real good reviews for his last Album “R.I.P.”. As another act they have Laurel Halo in their house. Her name resounded throughout the land due to her recently released album “Quarantine”. I’m talking here about an evening you shouldn’t miss.

DE: Hört her, hört her, das nenne ich wieder mal wahnsinns Nachrichten. Wie The Quietus schreibt, hat Geoff Barrow bestätigt, dass sich Portishead zusammengesessen hat um über ein neues Album zu diskutieren und sie auch zu dem Entschluss kamen, ein neues Album zu veröffentlichten. Wann es soweit sein wird, bis Beth uns die Ohren wieder besingen kann mit ihrer rauhen, zerbrechlichen und eindringlichen Stimme, wurde natürlich noch nicht verraten, nur soviel, dass Geoff sicher mal sein Studio wieder zum Laufen bringen muss.

Aber nach ihrer “Reunion” für das Album “third” scheint es wohl nun auch längerfristig wieder gefunkt zu haben. Ich muss gestehen, bin bis heute noch absoluter Fan ihres Album “third”, geschweige denn überhaupt aller Alben ;o)


EN: Listen, listen here, this is what I call thrilling news. As The Quietus writes, Geoff Barrow has confirmed that Portishead has sat together to discuss about a new album and also came to the decision to release a new album. When it will be, until Beth can sing again our ears with her harsh, fragile and insistent voice, of course, was not yet revealed. But but we know, Geoff currently needs to get his studio up and running again.

But after their “reunion” for the album “Third”, it appears that they truely found a way of working together again. I must admit, I am still an absolute fan of their album “third”, or let’s say all of their albums ;o)
